General Scope of Applications
Molycop Tools© is a set of easy-to-use Excel 2007 spreadsheets, designed to help process engineers in the mineral industry characterize and evaluate the operating efficiency of any given mineral ore grinding circuit, following standardized methodologies and widely accepted evaluation criteria.
In addition to the simulators – and associated mass balance and parameter estimation routines – for conventional and semiautogenous grinding circuits, Molycop Tools© includes additional spreadsheets for the more traditional Bond’s Theory calculations, mill power draw correlations, ball charge formulae, hydrocyclone models and other general utility functions.
